My ideal future job

 

Hello everyone, in this blog I will write about the future work I would like to have. I have always liked social and economic problems; I am quite interested in the huge inequality that exists in our country and I would like to work to improve it.

I think it would be a job both in the office and in the "street", working with paperwork, but also visiting people to see their living conditions and improve them as much as possible.

In the type of work that I imagine I would not be much of a traveler or have a millionaire's salary, since it would be a more social job and is not well known for having good pay, but I am passionate about social work and perhaps I could complement it with another type of work.

I am currently in my second year of political science because it is related in a good way to the social aspect of the country, but also to politics, which I like very much. It also has a very broad labor field, so I could develop in different areas of work just by studying this.

It is not a very well-known career, most of the times when I say what I am studying they ask me what it is about, and they immediately relate it to the congressmen.

    Oh, I thought there were only people who studied public administration :o but well, our careers are still somehow related xd although I'm still curious about what the developmental area of Political Science is, since I think it's like PA theory, not as such, but the kind of relationships within it (although I still imagine it's much broader xd), can you explain to me?

    I think it's inspiring for you to want to have a job that allows you to improve people's living conditions, it's a hard thing to do, but I guess it's also a very fullfiling ambition! :)

    As Coni I still thought there were only people who studied public administration hahah and like you I'm also interested in the huge inequality that exists in the country, and I hope that one day that exists less and less. I hope we can achieve it (:

Blog 8 A subject I enjoy studying this semester

It has been a very difficult semester and different from what I was used to. It is not normal to be studying in the middle of a pandemic while there are so many crises in the country, but there is always something good to rescue. One of my favorite subjects this semester is "Methodology of Research in Political Science", here they teach us how to do research correctly. We had to choose a subject and develop this research step by step during the whole semester, currently I have 2 deliveries of the 4 that are in total. The research methods that we have been taught begin with how to choose a topic, know the central concepts and then establish the dependent and independent variables to begin building the research. Once this is done, we begin to develop hypotheses and focus on finding information and theories related to them. My favorite series

  Hi, this time I'm going to write about one of my favorite series, it's called Outlander and I started it because a cousin recommended it to me, it's also on Netflix, so if you're looking for something to watch it has to be this series! It's a dramatic genre, based on the saga of Diana Gabaldon's levels and the plot is about Claire, a nurse in the 1945 post-World War II era, married to Frank Randall, who at the end of the war goes on a honeymoon to Scotland. Frank is a historian, and they travel to the places in the Highlands where their ancestors lived. Mysteriously Claire travels through time to 1743 where the English are invading Scotland and Claire meets the ancestor (her husband's great-great-grandfather) who is identical to Frank but very evil. Claire in her effort to return to the place where she traveled through time meets a Scottish clan who offers her help and there, she meets Jamie, a beautiful Scot and begins a story with many obstacles and prob...

Blog 6 Favourite music genre / musican.

I did not always like this style of music; it was only in 2015 that I discovered it and it is alternative or indie rock. I used to listen to a lot of pop and my favorite band was One Direction, it was a long time, I liked them a lot and I listened to them day and night. Now when I listen to them it brings back good memories but they broke up :(. The band is The Killers, I think they have an incredible musicality and the presentation in their videos is the best. My favorite song of The Killers by far is Mr Brightside, I recommend you to listen it, the video has an interesting plot and also has a continuation with another song in their video that is Shot At The Night. Other very good songs are Read My Mind or Indie, Rock And Roll. The truth is that before I didn't explore much about other genres but thanks to The Killers, I also started listening to Birdy which is indie but closer to pop.
